Dirty sludge from New Orleans........

I already posted their self-titled album on the Swamp, but to refresh your memory, SkinKrawl was a local NOLA band, with Jay Branch (who co-owned Incision Records with Ben Falgoust (Soilent Green, Goatwhore), being one of the members. A killer band who rocked the blood and beers in the New Orleans scene..

"A fresh new sound is the lifeblood of any kind of music. It takes a lot of guts because fuck if you're different it ís harder than ever to sell your sound to the one-dimensional record companies out there. SkinKrawL's latest demo has real balls. The band's sound is fresh and different and they don't sell out for a moment to impress anyone. This 3-track release sounds like the band put their heart and soul into it and, just as importantly, it rocks." (review from Roughedge.com).

"I remember my first SkinKrawL show was at Cypress Hall. I was so excited and nervous about going, because I was told there was a "legend" to SkinKrawL shows. The legend is that "Someone usually always leaves in an ambulance." (review from NewOrleansBands.net).

Thanks! Nice pumping tunes and sick voices! I think I remeber a similarly sick voice in certain songs of the very very early Korn. I absolutely must get hold of these guys' previous album posted by you, Cheeto: incredibly I missed it!!! Too many awesome posts ... :-D
